Nursing and Therapy Services

DEDICATED TO CARING FOR THE CONVALESCENT,
CHRONICALLY ILL OR INFIRM

Harding Nursing Home has a bed capacity of 92 and provides continuous total nursing care under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurses' Aides provide the skilled care prescribed by the resident's physician. Patient care conferences are held weekly with all disciplines in which the patient and family are encouraged to participate.

Our facility also provides access to diagnostic services essential for diagnosis and treatment. Orders for these tests must be requested by the resident's physician.

Our Nursing Facility is recognized for both Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Residents are seen by the physician upon admission, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days and thereafter every 60 days and/or as needed.

Local physicians are available and on call, including the Medical Director. A podiatrist, optometrist and dentist will come to the Home's facilities based on a reference by the resident's physician and the staff.

Within our facility, we have an active physical therapy department under the direction of a Physical Therapist. These services are carried out by Therapy Aides to achieve an optimum level of function, comfort and self-esteem for each person in our home.
